The operating principle of the step-type head is primarily based on its structural design. During locomotion, the head is connected via vertical and horizontal pivot pins, allowing it to deflect and translate to a certain extent in both the horizontal and vertical directions. This flexibility enables the head to adapt to varying terrain and changes in orientation, thereby maintaining stable movement. Meanwhile, the unloading chute baffle and cushioning device reduce impact and uneven loading on the conveyor belt during material discharge, protecting the belt and enhancing operational efficiency.
